An informed user is your company’s most valuable asset in its Cybersecurity implementation. Even with Enterprise UTM Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, Network Detectors, and Security Audits & Scans, your company can still be easily compromised by a simple email or website and an uniformed user. Cybersecurity training tasks users to think about their online activity and teaches them how to be proactive in protecting themselves, which in turn protects your company.
Great Question. The short answer is, NO! These training sessions are designed to fit into any schedule without disrupting workflow. Most training sessions take less than 15-20 minutes and are completely automated, so each user can complete the session at their convenience. Typically, 1 training session is scheduled per month. This schedule is flexible and can be customized to meet your company’s specific needs.
Email phishing is a cyber attack / hack in which the attacker relies on deceptive emails to trick end users (targets) into releasing privileged information, account credentials, or downloading malware/viruses. Phishing emails will likely appear to be from trusted sources or organizations, and may even appear to be sent from someone that the user interfaces with on a daily basis. Typically, the end goal of this type of attack is to obtain information or login credentials for one of the user’s accounts.
Phishing awareness is designed to incite curiosity and awareness in users while they are utilizing email. Periodically, our systems will send emails to the subscribed users that appear to be legitimate, with only slight discrepancies. These emails are completely safe, they are designed to prepare users for unsafe emails that they may potentially receive in the future. Inside there will be links embedded that will track if users click them, or navigate to them. If a user navigates to these links, the system will flag the user to receive additional Cybersecurity training.
